Tara Bollinger

Tara is the Founder/Director of INSPIRE School Programs – a not-for-profit dedicated to programs in public and private schools that encourage self-esteem and positive decision-making. She holds Bachelor of Art degrees in Mass Communications/TV Broadcasting and Spanish. Upon graduation from college, she started her own public speaking business and traveled around the US and Australia speaking to over 100,000 students on the topic of sexual health. Tara competed for the title of Miss USA as Miss Missouri USA appearing in front of a television audience of 270 million people worldwide. After finishing her year as Miss Missouri USA, she moved to Australia and worked in modeling/acting, picked up an accent, opened a retail fashion store and continued speaking throughout Asia. She moved back to St. Louis and founded INSPIRE School Programs. She has written several curriculums as well as trains facilitators to teach the program in schools. After receiving a grant for INSPIRE School Programs in Cedar Hill, Texas, she relocated to the Dallas area in September 2012, where she oversees volunteer facilitators and between 1600 – 2000 students in the program each year. In addition, Tara has worked as a consultant for international fashion lines and a personal stylist. Her two children are an added motivation to help all students reach their potential.
